Block: Tulip Garden
Our barn was built by Paul's grandfather Fred Empkie in 1930, the same year Paul's father Fred was born.
The barn is on our family's Sesquecentiennial Farm that was established in 1867. It was build by local men in a
"barn raising" fashion.
Paul's grandmother was a quilter, and the Tulip quilt was chosen because it was similar to one of her
The barn is located on M53 approximately 2 miles south of Port Autsin on the west side of the road.
